The Alliance for a Modern State is a platform dedicated to accelerating the modernization of Czech public services. We bring together business and experts to create a state that is efficient, transparent, and prepared for the challenges of the future.

The Alliance operates through a fund supported by contributions from various donors. These contributions finance the projects outlined below, enabling the Alliance to support initiatives that align with its core mission.

Our goal is to act as a catalyst for modernization by fostering innovation in public administration, implementing best practices in governance and digital transformation, and delivering tangible results that provide real value to both citizens and the state.

Our vision is a future where public services are simple, intuitive, and fully accessible online to all citizens. A future in which the government operates transparently, makes data-driven decisions, and functions as an agile platform for the progress and prosperity of the entire society — all built on a solid democratic foundation.

Our work and projects are structured around three main pillars:

• Democratic and Secure State
  We support projects that strengthen the rule of law, independent institutions, and public trust in government — with the goal of reinforcing democracy and the country’s resilience to external threats.

  We promote projects that help public administration to streamline accessibility, serve people more effectively, communicate clearly, and operate efficiently.
  

• Efficient State Economy
  We aim to ensure that the state manages public finances in a transparent, effective, and responsible way — for the benefit of all citizens.
